This Privacy Policy describes how Quality Informatics, LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the HealthGuRu application and website at healthguru.fit (together, the “Service”).
The short version: your workout data never leaves your device. HealthGuRu stores your exercises, sets, weights, and timer sessions in your own phone or computer's local browser storage. We do not receive it, cannot see it, and do not sell it. The only personal information we handle is what's needed to process your subscription — and our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, handles the sensitive parts of that.
The HealthGuRu app records the information you enter while training — athlete names, exercises, weights, repetitions, sets, and interval-timer sessions. This data is stored only in your device's local browser storage. It is not transmitted to our servers. Consequences of this design:
Subscription and contact information. Purchases are made through Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country, and payment card details, and handles applicable sales taxes. We receive from Lemon Squeezy your email address and subscription status (active, canceled, past due) so we can provide access to the Service. We never see or store your full card number. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your information is described in the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy.
Support communications. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.
Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) may generate standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and operations. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the Service — Lemon Squeezy (payments, as merchant of record) and Microsoft Azure (hosting) — and where required by law. These providers process information under their own privacy and security obligations.
The Service is intended for purchase by adults. A subscribing adult (for example, a parent or coach) may allow children to use the app under their supervision; because workout data stays on the device, we do not collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Workout data on your device is under your control at all times — you can erase it with the app's Reset function or by clearing your browser's site data. We retain subscription records for as long as your subscription is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. To request deletion of the personal information we hold (such as your email), contact us at the address below; you may also manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked in your receipt.
The Service is delivered over HTTPS. Payment information is handled by Lemon Squeezy and its PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but the design of HealthGuRu minimizes risk by keeping your workout data off our servers entirely.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to receive a copy of it. Since the personal information we hold is limited to subscription details, the fastest path is to email us. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
