Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HealthGuRu application and website at healthguru.fit (the “Service”), operated by Quality Informatics, LLC (“we,” “us”). By subscribing to or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

⚠️ Exercise & health disclaimer. HealthGuRu is a timing and record-keeping tool. It is not medical advice, does not create a physician–patient relationship, and is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. High-intensity exercise carries inherent risk of injury. Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program — especially if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have any other medical condition. Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. You use the Service and perform any exercise at your own risk. Adults are responsible for supervising any minor's use of the Service and their exercise activity.

1. The Service

HealthGuRu provides an interval (HIIT) timer, a strength-training tracker, and related summaries. Your workout data is stored locally on your own device — see our Privacy Policy. Because of this design, we cannot restore workout data that is lost when a device is reset, the browser's data is cleared, or the app's retention window (7 days for daily logs) elapses.

2. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Plans. The Service is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
Billing. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record; applicable taxes are collected at checkout. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked in your receipt email or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
Refunds. If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first purchase for a full refund. Renewal payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Trials and promotions. If offered, trial terms will be stated at signup and convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

3. Your account and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription.
Your subscription is personal to you and your household; do not resell, share publicly, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for competitive purposes, or circumvent access controls of the Service.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, name, and branding, is owned by Quality Informatics, LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes while your subscription is active. Your workout data is yours.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TIMING DISPLAYS WILL BE PRECISE ON EVERY DEVICE OR BROWSER.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUALITY INFORMATICS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY ARISING FROM EXERCISE ACTIVITY, OR LOSS OF DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quality Informatics, LLC from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes to the Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; if we terminate without cause, we will refund the prorated unused portion of your current billing period.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Quality Informatics, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
